This piece feels like it was washed in early morning light. The blues here are cooler and softer, with gentle brushstrokes that give the background a peaceful, almost misty atmosphere. A tall fern rises through the center like a quiet breath, while another sits rooted at the bottom, full and layered. Scattered between them are oak, maple, ginkgo, and small round leaves, drifting through clusters of Queen’s Wreath vine blooms. Everything feels light and suspended, like the forest just before it wakes.
This piece measures 40x68 inches as a full sheet of cotton fabric. It will arrive unframed, giving you the freedom to stretch and frame it in a way that fits your space. Stretching the fabric around stretcher bars will slightly reduce the final dimensions, depending on the thickness of the bars, but only by a few inches. You can add a frame afterward if you'd like. I personally love using wood or a simple white frame, but it's completely up to your style.
There’s no set direction for how this piece should hang. When I create these, I don’t think in terms of top or bottom—just form, flow, and feeling. Whether you hang it vertically or horizontally is entirely up to your eye and your space. The next image shows an example of what the piece could look like framed in a home. You’ll receive the artwork as raw cotton fabric, carefully packed for safe delivery. Shipping costs $20 and typically takes 10 to 15 business days. I’ll email you as soon as your order comes through to confirm the timeline and keep you updated along the way.
