Original Cyanotype on Paper 22 x 30"

This cyanotype centers on a bold Monstera leaf, surrounded by an intricate arrangement of star-shaped flowers, Ginkgo, oak, and aspen leaves. I have hand-painted a few of the leaves, adding warm accents that bring depth and uniqueness to the piece. The delicate, airy lines weave through the composition, creating a sense of flow and movement in nature. Set against a rich blue background, the whites and warm hand-painted touches stand out, giving the artwork a vibrant yet calming presence.

Each cyanotype is a one-of-a-kind original, crafted from leaves I've gathered from around the world, making each piece like a journal of my travels. Made on watercolor paper, each artwork has my signature on the front and back. The cyanotype process involves soaking the paper in water, sometimes multiple times, which can create small tears. I've reinforced these spots with tape when needed, though they won’t show once framed. This process uses sunlight to create natural shapes in rich blue tones, giving each piece its own unique character.
