Layers of oak, maple, ginkgo, and other gathered leaves overlap with several species of fern, creating a rich and dynamic composition. This piece measures 40x68 inches as a full sheet of cotton fabric. It will arrive unframed, giving you the freedom to stretch and frame it in a way that fits your space. Stretching the fabric around stretcher bars will slightly reduce the final dimensions, depending on the thickness of the bars, but only by a few inches. You can add a frame afterward if you'd like. I personally love using wood or a simple white frame, but it's completely up to your style.
There’s no set direction for how this piece should hang. When I create these, I don’t think in terms of top or bottom—just form, flow, and feeling.
