This cyanotype showcases two Monstera leaves mirroring each other, creating a striking yin-yang effect that adds a sense of duality to the composition. The contrasting sepia and blue tones emphasize this balance, with the leaves appearing as if they’re in harmonious opposition. Surrounding them are scattered star-shaped flora and delicate fern fronds, adding layers of texture and depth. This mirroring effect, combined with the vibrant, warm and cool tones, evokes a sense of interconnectedness and balance, as if capturing the natural duality found in a tropical landscape touched by sunlight and shadow.

Each cyanotype is a one-of-a-kind original, crafted from leaves I've gathered from around the world, making each piece like a journal of my travels. Made on watercolor paper, each artwork has my signature on the front and back. The cyanotype process involves soaking the paper in water, sometimes multiple times, which can create small tears. I've reinforced these spots with tape when needed, though they won’t show once framed. This process uses sunlight to create natural shapes in rich blue tones, giving each piece its own unique character.
