This cyanotype composition brings together bold shapes and graceful lines with a large Monstera leaf in the foreground, complemented by a sweeping palm frond reaching from the top. Star-like flowers and delicate ferns fill the background, adding a touch of softness and intricacy. Each cyanotype is a one-of-a-kind original, crafted from leaves I've gathered from around the world, making each piece like a journal of my travels. Made on watercolor paper, each artwork has my signature on the front and back. The cyanotype process involves soaking the paper in water, sometimes multiple times, which can create small tears. I've reinforced these spots with tape when needed, though they won’t show once framed. This process uses sunlight to create natural shapes in rich blue tones, giving each piece its own unique character.
