This cyanotype features a harmonious blend of ferns, maple leaves, and star-shaped flora, arranged in layered bands across the piece. The background alternates between deep blue and soft sepia stripes, adding a textured, almost painterly effect. The maple leaves and ferns appear as soft silhouettes, their shapes diffused within the layers, creating a sense of depth and movement. This combination of elements and tones evokes a peaceful, forest-like atmosphere, as if sunlight filters through layers of foliage. The balance of earthy sepia and calming blue adds warmth and tranquility to the composition.

Each cyanotype is a one-of-a-kind original, crafted from leaves I've gathered from around the world, making each piece like a journal of my travels. Made on watercolor paper, each artwork has my signature on the front and back. The cyanotype process involves soaking the paper in water, sometimes multiple times, which can create small tears. I've reinforced these spots with tape when needed, though they won’t show once framed. This process uses sunlight to create natural shapes in rich blue tones, giving each piece its own unique character.
