A large maple leaf sits at the center of this cyanotype, its light cracks and fine surface texture making it the main focal point. Smaller maple leaves surround it, along with a few oak leaves, rounded aspen leaves, and two smooth fan shaped ginkgo leaves near the top.
Orchid blooms appear in the lower section, adding soft, rounded petals that contrast nicely with the sharper leaf silhouettes. Fern fronds curve through the composition with delicate detail, and star shaped flowers are scattered across the background, giving everything an open, airy rhythm. The hand-applied chemistry creates gentle shifts of blue that keep the entire piece calm, balanced, and easy to look at.
