Long fern fronds fall from the top edge and open outward across a field of deep, steady blue. More ferns rise from the lower corner with clean, delicate detail, creating the feeling of a small cluster growing together in a quiet forest clearing. Star shaped flowers drift through the open spaces between the fronds, and small heart shaped and oak leaves rest softly among them.
The dark blue background stays consistent across the piece and gives each plant silhouette a clear, glowing presence. The arrangement of ferns, scattered flowers, and gentle leaf forms creates a calm, grounded moment that feels connected to nature and full of quiet movement.
Created using the cyanotype process, two chemicals are hand mixed and applied to watercolor paper, real botanicals are placed on top and exposed to natural sunlight, then washed by hand to reveal the image. Each piece is completely one-of-a-kind original artwork.
