Two monstera leaves face each other in a mirror image, their rounded forms and iconic splits creating a beautifully symmetrical composition. Sweeping horizontal brushstrokes in warm cream and white flow across the entire piece, weaving between and behind the leaves with a bold rhythmic energy. The tones shift between deep midnight navy and soft teal and sage green, with the warm cream brushstrokes adding a striking contrast that brings the whole piece to life.
Created using the cyanotype process, two chemicals are hand mixed and applied to watercolor paper, real botanicals are placed on top and exposed to natural sunlight, then washed by hand to reveal the image. Each piece is completely one-of-a-kind original artwork.
