A large monstera leaf dominates the entire composition in a double exposure, its distinctive splits and holes layering beautifully across itself. Clover-like foliage, maple leaves and small scattered leaves fill the background. Sweeping horizontal wave brushstrokes from the paintbrush flow across the piece with warm golden hues running through them. The tones shift between deep teal, rich green and soft icy blue.
Created using the cyanotype process, two chemicals are hand mixed and applied to watercolor paper, real botanicals are placed on top and exposed to natural sunlight, then washed by hand to reveal the image. Each piece is completely one-of-a-kind original artwork.
