Original Cyanotype on Paper 22 x 30"

This piece evokes the serenity of a starry night, with a field of soft, star-shaped flowers scattered across a deep, dark blue background. Among them, a single gold star flower stands out, symbolizing the brightest star in the night sky—a guiding light, a beacon of hope and inspiration amidst the quiet vastness. The rich, dark blue background deepens the sense of night, while the lone gold accent brings warmth and focus, drawing the eye like a wish on a clear night.

Each cyanotype is a one-of-a-kind original, crafted from leaves I've gathered from around the world, making each piece like a journal of my travels. Made on watercolor paper, each artwork has my signature on the front and back. The cyanotype process involves soaking the paper in water, sometimes multiple times, which can create small tears. I've reinforced these spots with tape when needed, though they won’t show once framed. This process uses sunlight to create natural shapes in rich blue tones, giving each piece its own unique character.
