This piece beautifully combines a variety of natural forms, with a prominent Monstera leaf anchoring the scene, symbolizing vitality and strength. Surrounding it, other leaves like oak, ginkgo, and fern bring a harmonious balance, while the radiating lines evoke sun rays, suggesting growth and life nourished by light. The deep, layered blues and whites create a striking contrast, capturing both the calm and energy of nature. Star-shaped flowers scattered across add a touch of celestial wonder, linking the earthly elements to the heavens. Each cyanotype is a one-of-a-kind original, crafted from leaves I've gathered from around the world, making each piece like a journal of my travels. Made on watercolor paper, each artwork has my signature on the front and back. The cyanotype process involves soaking the paper in water, sometimes multiple times, which can create small tears. I've reinforced these spots with tape when needed, though they won’t show once framed. This process uses sunlight to create natural shapes in rich blue tones, giving each piece its own unique character.
