This cyanotype features a striking central palm frond, its slender leaves stretching upward like rays of sunlight, symbolizing resilience and the life-giving warmth of the sun. Set against a warm sepia-toned background, the piece evokes a sense of grounded energy. Scattered around the palm are delicate shapes of fern, oak, and star-shaped flowers, adding layers of subtle movement and texture. The earthy hues and bold lines together create a serene yet vibrant scene, reflecting the harmony and strength found in nature’s patterns.

Each cyanotype is a one-of-a-kind original, crafted from leaves I've gathered from around the world, making each piece like a journal of my travels. Made on watercolor paper, each artwork has my signature on the front and back. The cyanotype process involves soaking the paper in water, sometimes multiple times, which can create small tears. I've reinforced these spots with tape when needed, though they won’t show once framed. This process uses sunlight to create natural shapes in rich blue tones, giving each piece its own unique character.
